All prices include Belgian VAT. In Belgium you will often see the abbreviation TVAC on an invoice : it means VAT is already in the figure, so €149 is what you pay for the job itself. The €120 call-out fee is added to it. The 100 % surcharge applies at night, at weekends and on public holidays. Everything is confirmed on the phone before anyone drives out.

Repairs, parts and installations are guaranteed for two years. Unblocking is not guaranteed, and we would rather say so plainly : how long a drain stays clear depends on the state of the pipe and on what goes down it. If the blockage comes back, a camera inspection finds the real cause — roots, scale, a collapsed section — instead of clearing it blind a second time.
How a bill is put together
Two figures, not a meter running. The job itself — €149 for a standard unblocking — plus the €120 call-out fee. At night, at weekends or on a public holiday the total is doubled, and you are told that on the phone before the technician leaves.
A worked example
A blocked kitchen sink on a Tuesday afternoon : €149 for the unblocking plus €120 call-out, so €269 including VAT. The same job at two in the morning on a Sunday comes to twice that. Nothing is added afterwards, and nothing starts without your agreement.
What is not in the price
Parts, if any are replaced — a cistern mechanism, a tap, a section of pipe. They are quoted to you before they are fitted. A camera inspection is a separate €449 and is only done when it actually answers a question, typically when a blockage keeps coming back.
Common questions
Does €149 really mean €149?
For the unblocking itself, yes, VAT included. The call-out fee of €120 is on top — we state it here rather than letting you discover it on the invoice. What we do not do is quote one figure on the phone and another on site.
What does TVAC mean on a Belgian invoice?
It means VAT is already included in the figure shown. The opposite, HTVA, means VAT still has to be added. Every price on this site is TVAC.
Do you give a written quote?
For an emergency, the price is agreed verbally on the phone and confirmed on site before work starts. For planned work — a repair, an installation — you get it in writing first.
Can I have an invoice with a VAT number?
Yes. Our VAT number is BE 1003.134.111 and it appears on every invoice, which matters if you need to pass it on to an employer, an insurer or a building manager.
